T.O. Book v. Movie

RJ 11.2 Read for 20-30 min. or IXL

    I walked into sixth period after an uneventful day. I walked to my seat and wrote the agenda down in my binder reminder.  As I was finishing writing the agenda, Ellie got called up to read her blog. Before she sat down, Emmett asked her to pick him so he could get it over with and Ellie seemingly agreed while I strongly disagreed. When she was done reading the blog, she chose me. I didn't mind, just as long as Emmett would be the last to do his blog I was fine. I packed up and went to sit down to do my blog. 

Ms. Nakada tells us to take out our reading journals and listened to the song of the week. The song describes leaving town since their home life is bad. The singer says that her Mom left because her Dad was an alcoholic. The singer also tells of how she found someone and wanted to run away with them but their life turned out the same as her parents, with the love interest drinking and going to parties. She then asks him to leave. This song is about hope. 

We then finished the movie, and Lena jumped onto the floor in an attempt to mimic Dally's silly death. Then, we packed up and went home. Wahoo.
