NaPoWriMo Day 15
Week 14: QQSL
Lit Circles / Readers Workshop
HW: RJ 14.1 IReady 2 lessons 40 - 45 minutes, Read and Write a poem
Class began, and we wrote the agenda for the day, and then the class read a poem "Before" by Ada Lamon, and had a discussion about the poem. After that, the class wrote a poem, and some shared theirs. Then, the class discussed the quote of the week, and answered the question of the week.
Quote: "Water does not resist. Water flows. [...] Dripping water wears away stone. [...] Remember you are half water. If you can't go through an obstacle, go around it. Water does." Margaret Atwood
Question: What do test reveal/not reveal about student learning?
Then, the class went into literature circles, the bell rang, and the class went home.
