read and write a poem
Today we all started class by arriving to class and writing down the agenda and taking a minute. Then, Genesis read her blog and chose me to write my blog, but, the thing is, I wanted to do my blog today because it was a short day. After I got to the desk we started to read a poem named "Toy Boat" for Tamir Rice by Ocean Vuong. Then, we pulled out our English notebooks and talked about what the poem is about. Next, we wrote our own poems after the timer went off Aaron shared his poem. Then, we turned to our Q.Q.S.L and listened to the song of the week "Only Happy When It Rains" by Garbage and after listening to the song we talked about what the song means. Then, we all packed up and left.
